Ashanti Cafe - Hanover

This restaurant is a great spot to take a break and enjoy a Cafe Latte. The service was excellent, with a friendly and attentive staff member who happily accommodated us as we embark on a year-long world trip. They also have options for toddlers, as well as a delicious selection of food and cookies.

A nice place to stop in if you're on the run, or sit awhile if you have time. The coffees are k, and they have a selection of snacky foods, but not cheap! I've made the mistake twice now to choose the sausage rool! Please do not make that mistake! They are not good! I dont know what is is, but whatever the filling is it's not what I know of as sausage meat!

Called in with family for coffee and cake. The coffee was average as was the cake, but this place charges as though it is far better.Don't think the quality is any better than Tim's down the road

Ashanti has excellent coffee. So good, in fact, that several co-workers buy bags that we can brew at work. The owners have done a FANTASTIC job at restoring the building, and the atmosphere is very pleasant and inviting. The only big problem is the price...everything seems a tad expensive for what you are getting.

The lunch was enjoyable and the coffee was great. However, the seating by the windows was not pleasant as there were dirty window sills with old coffee stains and dead plants and insects.
