It’s a cool little spot. Chicken wings were good but expensive and too expensive to have feathers still on the wing part. 15 wings for 44 bucks is crazy. Southern Blues gets 5 stars from Henson, Grat and Monroe Families. The food was finger licking good. Everything ordered was seasoned to perfection. Mac and cheese melt in your mouth, greens collards and string beans awesome, meatballs tender just lick our BBQ pork ribs and Turkeys wings sliding off the bones. I also had potato salad, mashed potatoes, rice, peach cobbler, rolls and corn bread. All of the food was excellent. The food arrived on time and we were helped in setting things up. My Family was overwhelmed with good food and good surroundings. Many Family members asked for their location and phone number. A Special Thank You to Mr Jimmy Yates, manager of Southern Blues. I always go here often enough to where when the manager sees me he 's like here again? Lol I love it here so much . Truly the most amazing food , truly the nicest staff . Everything is clean and perfect I can 't ever get enough of this place truly southern blues you are my first love lol!!!! I rave about this place for a reason food is amazing prices little pricey but extremely fair for what you get !!! I love it .

We decided to get takeout from this restaurant and ordered catfish with sides of mac and cheese, collard greens, and green beans. I also added a slice of sweet potato pie, which I highly recommend. Everything was amazing! The catfish had a crispy coating and a buttery taste. The mac and cheese was creamy and delicious. The vegetables were perfectly cooked. We definitely plan on returning whenever we are in the mood for delicious, comforting home-cooked food.
