The burgers are superb. The kielbasa is excellent. The free pretzels and schmutz is awesome. Schmutz is some kind of special mustard-y concoction created by the owner that is delicious. If I was grading on the food alone, this would be a 4-5 star place. Now the bad. There 's no tap beer. It is pricey to drink here. Bottled beer for $3-5 depending on what it is. I know that 's not that much but I truly believe that the lack of tap beer is the reason this place is always dead. Well, most of the reason. The decor is from the 70 's. They 've tried to improve it and have done so to the outside but the inside is still wood paneling and dated. The owner is another reason why I believe this place is always dead. He 's a decent guy and very intelligent. Unfortunately, he will tell you his life story and criticize the government every chance he gets. Everyone is against him, just ask him. He is a conspiracy theorist. It is such a shame. I don 't know how this place continues to operate. I 've been here many times and have never seen more than 12 people in here at a time. It is only open in the evenings. Fridays and Saturdays are completely dead. They do offer a 6-pack store that seems to do ok. I 've seen several people purchasing beer for take-out. THE FOOD IS AWESOME!! Doesn 't that count for anything? I HIGHLY recommend the Boom Burger. It is, without a doubt, the best burger that I know of in Hanover. The kielbasas are amazing.
I loved this place,at one time in Hanover this was the place to be.Sadly it has closed, leaving the memories in the harts of many...I MISS IT
It was open but we walked in and then walked out. This place is a dive. The seating was only at the bar as they had **** boxes all in the booths. I don't get it.
