Java Jive - Hannibal

This cafe is an absolute gem. I have traveled to Hannibal, MO quite frequently for work. Every time I come to this town, I stay at the The Travelers Rooming House, right next door to Java Jive, and go to the cafe every day! The baked goods are always fresh and yummy. The breakfast sandwiches and sandwiches in general are delicious and BIG. I love the salads especially in this area where good, fresh salads are very rare. The drip coffee is so so not my favorite, but it doesn't warrant one less star because I get espresso drinks instead which are great! The gift shop in the cafe is one of the best. I always leave my work trips with items from the shop to give as gifts or keep for myself like a beautiful pie plate that I use frequently! IMO the best restaurant in Hannibal. I was downtown for the Folklife Festival and got an orange vanilla latte and wow was it good. A little pricey but worth it for the drink. Perfect for a cool fall day. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a good coffee drink. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great atmosphere! Coffee and pastries are amazing with an enormous selection. Fun novelties, souvenirs, and tea/coffee products. Highly recommend a visit when you are in the area.
