A & W Hanna

Was passing through on way to Airdrie and it was later in the evening so I figured I would stop in here for a quick bite. I ordered the papa burger and onion rings. The batter on the onion rings was so flaky it was very thick in some parts. I couldn't eat them all because they were so salty. The burger was all right even thought it looked like it was tossed in the bag. Very limited seating and they don't give you a tray to take to the table. After eating, I got back in my truck and drove a few Kms and got very sick. I had to pull over and I ended up throwing up everything on the side of the highway. I like a & w but this experience may be my last visit to any A & w ever. Pass on this one.

So we stopped this past long weekend in order to grab some supper while we were on the road.The food was fast but man was it really salty. It is almost like they really hit it with the seasoning salt.Usually we stop here because it is safe for us to eat at due to a nut allergy. This time around there was a huge box of Tim Horton's Tim Bits behind the counter by the drink machines along with Tim Horton Coffees. Now I know that the Tim's just opened up in Hanna, but you should not have other restaurants food behind your own counter. Also Tim's ARE NOT SAFE DUE TO NUT CONTAMINATION! So when you have their products behind your own counter you basically CROSS CONTAMINATE your entire work area!I will not be eating here again. Period.I'll grab food an hour down the highway at Oyen at their A&W.

Food is ok. But watch your change.. I was short changed 5 bucks.. I caught it and got it corrected but the sad part was the additude of the cashier.. Not even a sorry. I think she expects to make extra money that way...

I was travelling through Hanna and I stopped at 11:15. Missed breakfast but was able to get a teen burger combo. Overall the food was consistant and hot! With them just starting change over from bfast to lunch the food was super fresh. A nice surprise.

What great service the girls gave us on Tuesday. After being ignored at Tim Horton's we opted for breakfast at A&W. We were in a hurry to get on the road. It took 6 minutes to pick up a hot, fresh breakfast from smiling friendly staff. Well done A&W!
