Ristorante Zum Schwanen Hanau

We were there on a Saturday and arrived shortly after the opening of the restaurant. all the tables were empty, but we had to sit on a quite small table along the wall; obviously the waiters waited for some great guests, but they did not arrive as long as we were there. the food was well prepared and delicious, but we did not feel welcome there.

The pasta sauce was disappointing and tasted like something from an almost food Italian place in the states. the bruschetta had melted on it slices of odour cheese. (wt) the prices were low and the environment was funny. in the summer, the sitting places will be in the open much...fun. the location uses a few hundred feet away at the palast. the workers speak Italian, although they have moved 40 years ago to Germany. of reviews and few but beautiful pictures I thought we would go to a chic place, not a family place. 3 stars this time, but with more can visit it 4.

We came to this restaurant on a afternoon and enjoyed sitting in the garden. We've been 6 people and ordered different dishes. The pastas, salads and meat were really good, but we never had such a tasteless pizza at an Italian restaurant. Service was typically...charming and friendly. The variety of drinks and wines is very good and we enjoyed our dinner.

Admittedly we only ordered pizza and a good wine here, so I can't offer any review on the other dishes. The pizzas were average, with tinned mushrooms. But on the plus side we enjoyed the atmosphere. It was almost a full house on a Tuesday...night. Seemed like a nice young crowd enjoying a drink and inexpensive food. Very friendly and attentive service.

Beautiful atmosphere created by eating personal who know how to treat their customers. we, a family of 5 have never been disappointed with one of the meal we had here. it is busy when the day goes on and often is full of happy locals through...the time we leave a little after 12:30
