Japanese Grandma's Cafe - Hanapepe

Grandma's Cafe is a charming little spot that is exceptionally clean and conveniently located next to the indoor shop. The menu features Japanese cuisine that is simple yet delightful. I tried the Tekka maki (tuna roll) and Kappa maki (cucumber roll), two of my favorites. Having grown up with this type of food, it holds a special place in my heart, and Grandma's Cafe did an outstanding job! My husband, who isn't usually a fan of Japanese food, enjoyed the chicken bowl with teriyaki sauce and was pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend Grandma's Cafe!

We absolutely adored everything about this delightful restaurant! It may have the best sushi we've ever tasted, and the service was fantastic and welcoming. There's also a lovely boutique attached. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

I highly recommend this restaurant. It has a fantastic atmosphere and is a charming spot. The sushi and sashimi are exceptional. It will definitely be a regular destination for us!

This was delicious, everything was very fresh. The staff and owners extremely friendly and there is a little gift shop inside that is quite amazing. My husband had one of the specialized sushi rolls and I had an awesome mixed Poke bowl over wonderful rice and local greens! We will be go return.
