Pat's Taqueria - HANALEI

The food was okay, but I will definitely not be returning to this restaurant. The owner is extremely rude and I don't think it's a good idea to support someone who acts this way. Despite being polite and patient when my order was incorrect, I was rudely told to stop staring at him while waiting for my food. The prices are high for just decent food, and the owner's attitude is unacceptable. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Have to agree with the other reviews regarding costs and food quality. We were very disappointed with our ahi burritos and even more disappointed knowing how much we spent. The burrito was overfilled with rice and I’d say I maybe had 8-10 small chunks of ahi. Even with hot sauce there was virtually no flavor. We ended up dumping it out on a plate to find just the fish because it was essentially a rice burrito. Again, understand prices have gone up but give your customers a reason to come back. Unfortunately we will not be returning.

Located in a prime spot for a food truck, I had high expectations for this place, especially considering the prices. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to find that my $15 steak fajita burrito was mostly rice and lacked flavor, even with hot sauce. We also tried the $6 jalapeño cream cheese quesadilla, opting for the regular size thinking it would be large enough to share, but we should have ordered two. The flavor was good, but the service was mediocre and the atmosphere was pleasant, thanks to the location in Hanalei.

I am not sure why a small-sized vegetarian burrito costs $17 at this restaurant.

Super nice worker, but the fish burrito was bland, and small size for $15. Credentials- I’m from San Diego. Wife’s fish tacos were also bland. We heard Pat’s was really good in the past, not sure what changed. I hate to be negative but for that price it should be better/bigger.
