The food was good, and my server provided good service. However, the rest of the staff ruined my experience. I sat there and listened to them gossip about other employees and their personal lives. If I could upload the audio, I would. Please remind these employees that customers are there to enjoy their meal and the overall experience, not to be subjected to their gossip. It really spoiled my visit.

I ordered the turkey dish from the menu, which was supposed to be caramelized with tweepers on white rice with greens. However, after waiting 30-40 minutes with no other customers in the restaurant, I received a completely different dish. Instead of turkey, I was served Teriyaki chicken that was drenched in sauce. When I brought this up, I was told that their chicken and turkey dishes are distinctly different, which was disappointing as it should have been a whole piece of meat as advertised. I may not know much about turkey, but I can definitely tell the difference between that and chicken. Hopefully, this feedback can be considered for improvement in the future.

This restaurant is so good that I plan to dine here every week until I have tried everything on the menu.

I was disappointed with the service at this restaurant. The waiter seemed disinterested and did not write down my order, resulting in mistakes. The food took a long time to come out, and the mimosas were watery. The raspberry peach sangria was good, but served in a small cup. The food was served in takeout containers instead of plates, which was disappointing. Despite these issues, the staff did their best to fix the order and the waiter gave me a discount on my meal. It's unfortunate to see a place catered towards black people have such underwhelming service. This is not to say that other ethnicities are not welcome. It's a shame that I had to come back and edit my review. Thank goodness I'm not allergic to mushrooms.
