The carpaccio wasn't as good as usual. So this was a poorer experience than usual at Tino's. The value is not so great under these conditions.
Delicious! Portions are perfect, smaller than most places. Fried squash blossoms are a must try. Steaks were perfectly cooked and my backed fish was actually crispy on edges which was great.
Didn't get my appetizer. The pork chop was burnt, with the burnt side placed down to conceal the fact that the pork chop was inadequately cooked. We had to flag down servers to get something as simple as water. The calamari and oysters were great, but overshadowed by inadequate service and an inedible entree. While I had many great times at Tino's previously, last night was the last night I will be visiting for a while.
The experience was great. We've had a couple less than great experiences at other more upscale restaurants but Tinos restored our faith! The food was great (albeit a little expensive) and the service was excellent. Will go back.
Everytime we go here it gets better and better. This time there were three of us. We had the warm feta dip and the Tagletelli with beef, the Statler chicken and the pork chop. The big winner with the three of us was the Pork Chop. You can't go wrong with this place, don't confuse it with Galley Hatch down stairs.
