There were two seemingly experienced ladies and a new young man. The experienced staff seemed to be pushy with him and sometimes it seemed aggressive with the new employee, although he did his best to learn the job. When I gave my order, he appeared very nervous and was given much pressure by the other employees. If this continues, the new employee can stop. I think getting familiar with something needs time and experience when he is treated badly when he doesn't want to work there. I think his name was Dylan, although I'm not sure, and he was very polite and helpful. Please note that he is well treated, it would benefit him and the company if the staff showed cooperation instead of suppressing the newer workers. Thank you.
Coffee was weak, had no packages with sugar or sticks. Unfortunately, it was not impressed.
My husband and I were thrilled to try this sweet little place because I love coffee. He has a nut allergy, so we asked the nice worker to check the croissant ingredients for any kind of nuts. We hear her on the back, asking her boss and we hear the boss say? Just tell him we're out.. The boss comes to us and tells us very rude that they are from croissants. Apparently, she didn't want to look at the ingredients for us. She was very rude and dismissed. All because my husband has an allergy. It is terrible to know that someone can take a few seconds to read ingredients for a customer with a life that threatens allergy. I wish I could give 0 stars.
Most companies want people to buy their product, but I feel like they're super crazy that I'm here at all. I would suggest going a little further on the road to Porters Neck location, they have great customer service, always getting my order right and are quick.
Quiet vibe, but nothing special. Doesn?t feel like the indie coffee shop feel they were going for. Beans are roasted elsewhere and already brewed?you won?t find pour over or exotic roasts if that?s what you?re looking for.
