The chips were so hot that a child burned their hand on the grease. We were also overcharged for items we didn't order, including an unexpected 18% service fee. This place seems shady and tries to rush payment to hide these issues. We will not be returning and recommend going to Baja Grill a few miles down the road instead. It's best to avoid this restaurant.
The service was excellent, with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude. The tortilla chips were big, warm, and very crispy. The salsa had a delicious texture and flavor. The standout dish of the meal was the $10.95 burrito, which included steak, mushrooms, onions, cheese dip, and homemade hot sauce. It was absolutely amazing if you enjoy spicy food.
I ordered takeout for my family of four and was disappointed to find that all the food was cold. The chicken tenders were actually just fried pieces of chicken skin with no real meat inside. Despite living less than two minutes away from the restaurant, I was surprised to receive such poor quality food. I definitely did not expect to be served ice cold scraps for an entree.
I came to Los primos on a Sunday afternoon with friends from church, there were 9 of us so a fairly big party. We got our food and drinks fast but I had to ask to get a refill. Halfway through my meal I looked to the person next to me and said that I was thirsty. I shouldn?t be thirsty at a restaurant with a server. When I got my check I was even more disappointed. There was gratuity on the check which is fine but I always leave better tips without it. The group I was with are typically good tippers anyway. They also charged me 2.50 for 3 corn tortillas when I could get a whole pack at the store for the same price, this was disappointing to me because I have liked my experience here in the past. Will probably not be back anytime soon.
Terrible prices and horrible service. We had a similar experience with the customer below. We had a small party of less than 8. Ordered three margaritas, I didn?t hear a blender so I assume they came from a bag you can get from the grocery store or gas station. Took them around 15-20 to bring us the drinks. Most of the food was cold. The short, dark haired waitress helped herself to an 18% tip. Even my wife was a little bothered by the lack of service and the 18% tip. It?s over priced and the service is terrible.
