Edible Matters - Hammonds Plains Road

Ordered the fish cake and beans today and it was absolutely amazing! Best baked beans i have ever eaten.

For the record; this is only a rating based upon our last meal there.

A really nice wee establishment Such a shame they don't offer an attractive happy hour menu.

We live fairly close to this restaurant but for some reason we had never been there. We decided to go for supper recently and were not disappointed. We shared a small loaded kettle chips appetizer, it was a nice size to share. Each had an entree and a drink. Dessert was "to go" as we were very full! I loved the white wine sangria.

Food was good, but our waitress needs to get a better understanding of the menu. We asked a few questions about what meals came with or substitutions, and she continually had to go ask someone. Husband wanted the soup of the day we were told about, and as he was about to order, was told they were all out of it... :o(
