Zantes Fast Food - Hammond

Usually good food but not this time. The lady was rushing me to order. There was an up charge on everything I asked for. The garlic fries wasn’t worth $5 and some change…..

I ordered ahead to so that my order would be ready by the time I got there to pick up In the drive thru. 20mins later I arrived to find out the did not have my ticket. So I waited, granted not too long maybe 5mins or so , which leads my to believe my food wasn't cooked fresh, but anyways. I'm starting to realize you have to precisely order your Italian beef with what you want on it because no one puts anything on it. Cheese peppers that's about all. I only got the sandwich

I’ve come here for just about 10 years unfortunately I will have to cut ties with how unprofessional and argumentative the older woman working there treated me. I remained calm yet she screamed and yelled at me despite me telling her that the issue was no one’s fault. She then interrupted my phone conversation and began yelling again which was uncalled for and extremely rude. I was also asked to ‘calm down’ by the co-owner despite the fact the that woman was the one yelling which played into the ‘angry black woman’ stereotype. To say that I am hurt, disappointed, upset in this business is an understatement.

Went here for the first time maybe 10 minutes ago. The rib tips were literally falling off the bone. Fantastic service. Definitely worth every penny. Potato soup deliciously creamy. Perfect char on the burger.

Always 100% hands down the best gyros ever. I moved 4.5 hours away from Zantes 4 years ago and whenever I go home I try ro stop there to eat. I have not been able to find a gyro place to compare to Zantes anywhere where I live now.
