La Milpa Fresh Market - Hammond

I absolutely love this place! If you're looking for fresh produce, this is the spot to visit—it's way better than any of the larger stores or any other places I know of. The deli is fantastic too; I often come here to buy chicken. I highly recommend trying the guacamole and pretty much anything they prepare in-house. While it’s a small establishment, that's part of its charm. The staff is friendly and always helpful.

This place deserves zero stars. I bought arrachera and hamburger meat, and the smell was absolutely terrible. I ended up throwing everything away. Please make sure to check your meat quality!
