Cracker Barrel - Hammond

Cracker Barrel is a fantastic restaurant. The food is consistently delicious, and I've always experienced excellent service. I've noticed some 1 and 2 star reviews, but I believe those reflect the impatience of people these days. Given the widespread staffing shortages, it's important to be prepared for some delays. Personally, I've never had any significant issues that stand out in my memory. A little tip: it's always a good idea to order the same thing every time!

The wait wasn't great, but the food was decent. I ordered the burger and wished the patty had been thicker. My wife had the fish, which came in a good portion size. You can pay your bill using a QR code on your check, which was easy to do. However, I would have liked to receive a clear payment confirmation from the app. Since I was unsure whether the payment had gone through, I ended up heading to the front counter to double-check.

The restaurant was quite crowded, but we were seated within 30 minutes. Our waitress was outstanding; she brought us our drinks and let us know that the kitchen was running a bit behind, so our food would take a little longer. I wasn't there for breakfast, but I truly enjoyed the dinner. My husband is a big eater, and he wished the portion sizes were larger. We will definitely be returning!

If we eat here today! Our server, Stacy, was the best! Honestly, the best customer service I ever had in a cracker barrel! If you stop, ask for Stacy!
