I inquired about the 'Waterside' plant-based burger and the waiter was unsure, mentioning it was made with root vegetables. I was hoping for a patty made with sweet potato, but instead received an overly processed 'pretend meat' burger that I could only eat half of. When I mentioned this to the waiter, he just brushed it off without learning from the experience. The staff could use better training and the menu could use more information. However, my husband did enjoy his duck dish.
I went to The Waterside on a Sunday afternoon and was impressed by its beautiful location next to the river. The Sunday roast was outstanding, one of the best I've ever had in London. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I visited a lovely riverside bar with a perfect view of the river. The prices for food were reasonable and the staff were friendly. I would definitely go back again!
1. The menu offers great nutritional content with generous portions at a reasonable price. There is a good variety on the menu without being overwhelming. 2. The location is convenient, situated on the river, making it easy to reach and a great option for locals. 3. The interior and outdoor spaces are well designed with plenty of room and areas available for group reservations. 4. The drink selection is impressive, with a good variety of gins and tonics to choose from. The rest of the beverage menu is also quite appealing. I recommend trying the wine list next time. 5. The staff is friendly, attentive, and efficient. Overall, I highly recommend this pub for a great dining experience.
This restaurant is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots by the river! While I have yet to try their food, the staff has always been friendly and accommodating. The drinks, particularly the fluffy and crispy cocktails, are quite good, especially considering the location in Imperial Wharf. I would suggest starting off with a bottle of their white wine and some tonic water - their outdoor seating area is lovely. As for the food, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizza. The new chef has really stepped up their game with a crispy yet juicy crust, generous toppings of tomato, cheese, and basil. The interior is simple but comfortable. Overall, a hidden gem worth checking out.
