Me and my friend had a terrible experience at this restaurant. We ordered tibs (fried meat) but were served rotten meat that had clearly been boiled days ago. The staff refused to acknowledge their mistake and were very disrespectful, especially the waitress. We will never be returning to this restaurant and strongly advise others to steer clear as well. The unhygienic food we were served makes it highly likely that other patrons would also leave dissatisfied, or worse, poisoned.
I had a fantastic time at this restaurant. It brought back memories of meals I enjoyed in Sudan and I never thought I would find something so authentic in London. The service was top-notch and the prices were reasonable. Be prepared to wait a little when it's busy, as everything is made fresh to order. I would definitely return to try out more of their dishes.
I order a take away Gored Gored and I get Awaze Tibs, I should have check it there then. Very disappointed.
I was taken to this restaurant by a friend of mine who is Eritrean and as I had never had Ethiopian/Eritrean food. This is a lovely little restaurant that has seating as you walk in and then downstairs there is a load more seating. As I didn't know what to order my friend ordered a lamb dish with a number of vegetables/sauces. The flavours were wonderful, complimented each other and the Injera (sour dough risen flat bread) the main part of the meal. The price was good, the transport links are good and a lovely little setting.
