California Taco - Hamlin

Deliciously freshened to order food, friendly service, clean decor and a good price!

We've never eaten here. So we decided to jump the chance and go with what we hoped was authentic Mexican food. We ordered a lot of food for a group of people. Nobody liked it at the party. No spices. Taco bell had more kick and I wouldn't call the Mexican food. No guacamole, although it should be some. Threadsaite thin soggy salad, generic tub of base meat with very little taste that they use on everything that asks for basic beef in their menu. Salsa would have been better off a can in the grocery store. The rice was fine, but again not like a Spanish rice I've ever had, and pretty gland. Black chicken was dry and spicy. Nachos were stabbed and burned, then covered with little cheese and toppings. Shrimp was shredded and tasted like dirt. No spices in black beans. Save your money and go somewhere where it's about how your food tastes.

Food is delicious! The prices are reasonable and the staff is always pleasant. The grilled vegetables are excellent

Once you get the blackened chicken burrito you'll never go back.

Best service and food in the area! Best tacos I have had in a long time.
