Decided to finally try the fish and chips because of the longevity of the establishment. I ordered the most expensive item on the menu ( halibut and chips + extra fish).The fish was both thick and uniformly rectangular. The batter was thin but not crispy. The fish was over fried and dry. The uniformity of the fish led me to believe that it was frozen and not fresh fish that was fried. Very disappointed. Will keep on driving past for the next 10+ yrs.

Usually good fish and chips - but the quality of preparation seems to vary rapidly. The amount of fish and chips sdeems to vary quite a bit also.Occasionally the batter is a bit undercooked. Sometimes the chips are small and seem like "ends".We have purchased fish and chips from this location for years - with generally good results. The staff seem to change - along with quality of preparation and amount of food.I recommend asking that fish and chips be prepared "well done" - just to be on the safe side.
