Wok Around Chinese Food - Hamilton

Easily some of the best Chinese food in Hamilton. The orange chicken is incredible!

I ordered delivery from this restaurant and was disappointed with the quality of the food. The meat was overcooked and rubbery, the sauce lacked flavor, and the dishes were mostly vegetables. The shrimp batter was also falling off and the shrimp needed to be cleaned before cooking. I spent almost $60 on 3 dishes, but it was not worth it.

The person taking orders at this restaurant is extremely rude. After placing my order, I had it repeated back to me, so I assumed everything was correct. However, I later realized that two items were missing. When I called back, I was put on hold and then informed that I wasn't charged for the missing items. While that is nice, it doesn't mean I don't still want them. The person I spoke with on the phone also criticized me for saying "uh" a lot, which I found unnecessary. There was no apology or offer to add the missing items to my order. I was very disappointed with the customer service and will not be ordering from here again. I would recommend trying Amy's Wok instead, as their service is superior.

Although the food is delicious, my last experience with this restaurant on May 22, 2022, was less than satisfactory. I called in to inquire about the price of my order, which totaled $170. After finding out the price and deciding I wasn't interested, I hung up. To my surprise, a man showed up at my door within 30 minutes, yelling at me for hanging up and claiming I couldn't do so. It was strange since he wasn't the one who took my order, but rather a friend had made the transaction. This aggressive behavior was unacceptable and left me with a bad impression of the restaurant.

Small portions, very minimal on meat. Their chicken balls are half the size of anywhere else. Chicken chop suey with no chicken. Disappointed.
