Came right after the opening on Sunday morning. I ordered the sunset super with blueberry pancakes and speck and a large fresh orange juice. the service was friendly and attentive. my breakfast was very good, except one of the two pancakes was underdonated. in the middle was moist and pasty/sticky in mouth. both were medium-brown on the outside, but perhaps one was on a hotter spot on the grill and cooked the outer too fast without completely cooking the inner. bacon was made perfect, not overhauled or undercut.
Good access from hamilton, burlington or the Nigara Peninsula; service and eating is good; private enough to discuss business matters;
We arrived on the eastgate square at 8:00 a.m. on this last Sunday. it was our first time at a sunset grill venue. it was on the small side, but clean pleasant look. we found it quite full, but we managed to find a table that unfortunately close to a loud and very puzzling child that would not stop screaming. the elders probably smiled, thought he was sweet. we noticed that all their egg breakfasts were for 3 eggs, but no eier benedikt. my wife ordered rührei with pear bacon and hot tee. I ordered eggs with 4 sausages and coffee. both meals were served with homeowners, whom we asked for weizentoast. the amount of food was so much that we were not able to end our breakfast. in the evening we had only a small amount of food for dinner. the breakfasts were about $12.00, what we thought was a lot. the location at eastgate square, next to shoppers drug mart on centennial parkway had many parking spaces.
Good prices, great food. Very busy on a Sunday morning but good fast service! Will definitely be back
