Masala Corner - Hamilton

A small Indian take-out with a few tables for a quick meal. Daily special was tasty and quite filling. Also probably the largest naan I have ever had. Recommended.

This is one of my new favourite take out spots in Hamilton. We also order online, with a delivery fee of only $3. My hubby and I love the coconut curry chicken and samosa chat most of all. Generous portions, one meat and vegetarian dish enough for 3 huge meals. Everything is prepared fresh, and the prices are very affordable! Give yourself some time if getting delivery, you probably won't be able to take the wait.

I almost turned around when I walked into the tiny place as the floor was stained dirty and there was garbage on the empty tables. I ordered the vegetarian express lunch. I was the only patron in the place so I was surprised that express turned into about a 10 minute wait. My main dishes were being warmed up but the naan was made fresh. Over all the food was just ok. The paneer tasted a little weird and was softer than I am used to. The dish was sweet. Naan was huge. Rice was plain and Chana was very mild. All was served in a styrofoam box even though I ate in the restaurant. Not sure if I would go back.

I am definitely liking this place and will be back soon! It is a small and cozy establishment and decorated nicely.
