Pyynikki Coffee Shop Observation Tower

This would be a fantastic place to walk from the city and enjoy the views along the way. I purchased a bag of "munkkeja" to take home. They were just average, nothing special. I had high expectations for the munkit, but I was disappointed. They were okay, but nothing more. Still on the search for good "homemade" munkit.

We took an early morning stroll to Pyynikki and stopped by this lovely cafe. We also visited the tower, which offered a beautiful view and was definitely worth the 2€ admission fee. We enjoyed coffee and fresh donuts with friendly service. We will definitely be returning in the future.

The waitress was very friendly and the donuts were delicious! We were lucky to have a table by the window with a view of the forest, making it a peaceful spot to enjoy this Finnish specialty. The restaurant is cozy inside, so you may not always get a table indoors, but there are also outdoor tables available if you don't mind bundling up in cold weather.

Absolutely charming little place with donuts. at the lower edge of an observation tower, which unfortunately did not appear on this occasion, it is.

I'd just come here for the ones. I'm just coming for the donuts "munkki and coffee. the combination of the two is unbeatable! make sure to visit this.
