Grab And Go Empanadas - Hamden

I didn't see a Latino or Hispanic person in there, so I was a little confused as to the Spanish cuisine. I got what we call Pastelillos/Empanadas and they were okay. Hot sauce was more of a curry sauce, which is not typical latin cuisine but Indian. Friendly staff and cute takeout/outside eatery.

Wish I could give this food a 10 star! Food always hot and fresh. Friendly staff. Best empanadas I've ever tasted from a restaurant. Seasoned well. I like the hours they are open. I can grab my empanadas at 7 a.m.!

It did not like that meat was grounded, has not come back any seasoned to the meat.

They were ok, we had a lot of tastier filling it needed more seasoned and more flaming for us we based it on seeing it from home town fresh high midday traffic, so we thought it was popular, so it must be good, the spinach and cheese were delicious the rest of the combo were very bland not latin flare or taste. we were somehow disappointed and pampered before being honest with amazing latin empanadas- sad people. obviously the people have eaten them nowhere and do not know better here to compare.

The best empanadas I've ever had. I absolutely love them. I ordered takeout for lunch and was highly satisfied with the service. The price per person is between $10-20. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5. I highly recommend trying the Chicken Chipotle and Chicken Jalapeno empanadas. There is plenty of parking available.
