The Funky Fish - Hamburg

The trip from Fehmarn was really worth it, everything was delicious, very friendly service and a cool cook. Definitely again next time you visit Hamburg. Funnkyfisch greets you with a great fish pan. P.S .: menu flyer on the table would be great

We made a reservation for the um via Open Table. When we got to The funky Fish, the place was closed. That was very annoying, especially because we were only in Hamburg for a limited time as tourists

Unfortunately, some dishes from the already very clear menu were not available, so the selection was very limited. The fried fish was great and is definitely recommended

After the reviews and especially the website, we expected more. The specials and pizza are only available on certain days, on Saturday evening the menu was limited to the basics. The fish looked large on the plate, but turned out to be a very small portion under the breading. However, it was very juicy. Our reservation was not known at Funky Fish. We were lucky that one last table of four became free. The waitress owner? was very friendly

Fantastic classic fish 'n' chips like I remember as a child. A must in Hamburg
