Henny's Restaurant & Events - Hamburg

The hotel is situated in a beautiful opposite, we enjoyed our evening meal on the terrace. the food was good, service was standard. I am a bit confused that I have an additional fee of € 1.50 for asking a teller without speck, as I do not eat meat, for the first time to pay extra for eliminating an ingredient

It was a lasy evening at the former with my long-term friend and college of studies. so it should be henny’s, well-knowing that there would be waiting times.The greeting was friendly and clear, on a table outside we were happy to wait 15 minutes. we used the time to order the first round. the drinks did not come, but finally the place. around us loose atmosphere, but occasionally more disappointed guests who were served late or not at all, sometimes even eating and then getting the drinks. I had observed this and mentioned the drink order again to our order.After another 20 minutes waiting time came without cutlery and serviettes which feed. irritated, but not surprised I left it back and asked to get the drinks first.This was taken very personally. shortly after, the upper sushi sauce, peeling, serviettes and sticking on the table as if I had insulted him. after all, the drinks came and immediately after eating again. I thought and we enjoyed the excellent food.Only to farewell at the theke it became uncomfortable again. the attempt to feed me and drink other guests in addition to the bill failed in view of the completely absurd amount of bill. For an apology I was allowed to wait in vain and so it was a cool setting, very tasty eating and an overwhelmed, unfriendly service. always check the bill!

We asked for a bigger table 3 times and next to us was not occupied for the duration of our meal. it would have been easy to join them and to have a group of 3 people sitting on a table for 4 instead of 2. we ordered large main dishes, all delivered with at least one side, and the waiters had problems bringing everything to the table, and even had to clear it the table of brot, flowers and candles. we are very disappointed and would not sit down if they offered us a table for 2 next time. a very uncomfortable meal!

This restaurant takes one with its charm directly caught. the darkly paneled walls radiate a great cozyness together with the decorative crimped pots on the table, beautiful porcelain and every amount of candles. the menu leaves no wish open and offers not only sushi and other classical German specialties. my rocket salad with parmaschinkens, pine nuts and parmesan was excellently tasted and of high quality. I can also recommend the vanilleeis in the marzipan coat on a berry mirror. a little bit, this is also a place to be seen and seen. it seems as if there is the upper clientele of winterhude. perfect location for a first date!

We were here in a bigger group eating and it was really a nice evening. the atmosphere, the food and the wine were really good. it's not a skin cuisine, but in hennys you can really go to eat well every day. the menu is diverse and there is something for everyone. except for allergic.
