Grand Elysée Hamburg, Oyster

Nice and effective bar for a quick rest and snack, they offer wide range or choices for a mid day snack.

Nice seafood and the oyster are really fresh plus their special vinegar. Soft tasty wine. We went there without reservation, we specially asked the waiter that how long it will take if we want a table aside the window towards the harbor, the waitress firstly told us we need to wait for 1 hr, then she guided us to the bar area with a small table, the space was so narrow which was more like a beer bar than a good restaurant, after 1 hr we sit in the small corner in the bar, we saw there were some tables aside the window were empty and finally our main course came, still there was no waiter coming to us telling that we can change to table aside the window, there was no one taking care of this as they promised previously( 1 h waiting), even when we wanted to pay, we asked one of the waitress, she was so tough and talked ask the guy in the bar while the food is delicious but it's not professional at all to treat your customers like this. On our way to this restaurant there was another one which we also wanted to try but finally we chose this one but it seems like we made a wrong choice.

We ordered a plate of Sylter Royale and got them wonderfully served on ice and in a silver plate, including bread, butter, Onionsauce, Tobasco, Lemon as well as pepper... They also offer several champagnes... Service was friendly and fast and very attentive

Great serving, cold glasses for the white and the sparkling wine. The level of the restaurant is quite good and the experience was nice. To remember!

The service was so good and the choice from the menu which was in german and english was excellent. pricey but worth it. The food was delicious.
