The salad was fine, the scampi pan was defenitive. As the main course there was Rib Eye Steak and that was the hammer! I've never eaten such delicate meat! The knife cut the meat almost by itself. A bottle of water and a Rioja, which was comparatively cheap at about 25€, but nevertheless very good. Finally an espresso, otherwise an almost perfect evening for almost 100€, which was absolutely appropriate for the offered performance. You're welcome.
The ambience ensures a pleasant atmosphere. The service (we had a young lady) was very friendly. She looked at us so we never had to wait long. Great! The food was very delicious and beautifully dressed. The appetizer (lummer cream soup) was a bit too salty for my taste. Rumpsteak, mushrooms and oven potatoes have tasted very well. I can only recommend it!
I had decided to visit the internet before HH after a good steak restaurant. Somehow I didn't get to stress. But what is that for? Where can you eat a really good steak here in Hamburg? So, at the main station is Block House.. Och nö, no chain; I can also have log cabin in Düsseldorf. I have a world town here, but there must be a very normal steak restaurant, not a McSteak. Wait a minute. Delta in the slaughterhouse. I'll take the business card tomorrow. He did it and sworn out of the store. We decided to abandon this without evaluation check-net and double floor. But the name Bistro gave me a hard time thinking. Bistro is generally defined as a cozy place, usually rustic in which you drink something and take small, sometimes fine meals. Sounds good. It's also French. However, the Düsseldorf definition differs slightly. Here you can say Bistro starts with B and stops with o. disclosures confirm the rule. This is how: Simple interior, rustic to gammely; the menu is French, but behind the pompous name there is often a simple sausage with roast sauce and a pure cue d 'ecrivisage en sauce poupoulcourouse or similar; or a frugal tomato sauce Potage Marie Antoinette . This is usually rounded off by unfriendly, low-noise service. For this purpose, these named bistros are seen. I don't have to be seen. For what? No one tears around my signed Nutella knife, and a beer I am empty will not be auctioned at Ebay the next day for €20,000. The Düsseldorfer Schickeria must and can live without me. I avoid the bistros. But in Hamburg, fortunately, a lot is different. Nevertheless, we controlled the Delta Bistro with a certain mistrust. In any case, we had thrown a tantuni beforehand and did not make a big cabbage steam a mistake to surrender. At the entrance a spicy brass sign with the recommendation of a French Goumet Syndicate and a button Please ring. Ring? We looked at each other. I don't know. Let Pizza go. I'm not. It's Nix. We've been here a long time. We will. But this spider. Maybe the door is open. The door was open. After a while we found the entrance to the restaurant. Another shield. Please contact the counter, we will give you a seat. Help! But dear pizza? No problem. We were only allowed to sit somewhere. The facility is rustically cozy. Light on the ceiling. We knocked the menus. There are good things here. From oysters to shells, from Irish to pommershem beef, truffle to pernod cream. If you are looking for this now, prices will remain within the scope. We ordered 250 g rib-eye from free beef € 18,90 with foil potato and Parisian pepper steak € 26,90, 300 g beef fillet on cognac cream sauce, with delicious roast potatoes. Salad to the steaks is included in the price that supplements beat with every € 3.50 to be booked. A large bottle of water on € 5,10 also did not haute us from the chair. The extensive wine card offered something for every taste and purse; fine. Even beer there is, unfortunately, no holiest noble.. There were plenty of fresh baguette with sour cream and very delicious olive bath. I wouldn't have eaten Tantuni before. Salad started pretty fast. I'm not a salad friend, and I found that on average. Fresh and probably vitamin-rich, I can't say more about it. The French dressing was not entirely my case, my companion tasted good. The steaks were even handed over a real steak knife that I can still experience. I hate to leave with a blunt bread knife or a zipper on the beautiful meat. Although it had done a bread knife, so tender was the meat. They didn't need teeth. Excellent. The fillet of my companion was about any doubt. And this sauce! My choice at the next visit is already clear. The Rib Eye was also very good. However, it was marinated. It should be mentioned in the menu. I prefer a steak snack, right past the gluten, only with pepper and salt. And many meat eaters too. But all in all: It was very tasty, we were pappsatt, not pleite, had a nice evening in a very cozy place and my taste amplifier allergic companion did not even have to cut. The service was very nice; for some taste perhaps a little rustic. Don't bother me, I'm used to Düsseldorfer Brauhaus Köbesse:
The restaurant is very inconspicuous from the outside. A little hard to find because you have to go up to the first floor through a small angled gear. The location above is great. It is also positive that parking spaces are right outside the door. The service staff is super friendly and attentive. The appetizer, the main course and dessert were simply the hammer. Everyone who loves meat should be there. The quality is the hammer; everything is perfectly prepared. Unfortunately nothing found to mecker.
Who would have thought that such a fantastic restaurant is hidden behind the inconspicuous name and in the middle of a commercial area and wholesale halls. We landed here by chance, because we stood at the door (closed society). If the many positive reviews had not been, we would probably have turned around and not in this commercial area. So we stood at 18:00 and had luck even without reservation there was a free table for two. The upper floor restaurant shows itself when entering from its best side. Great, bright, cozy ambience we immediately felt comfortable. The friendly reception of the team. The menu is pleasantly manageable, quickly we had selected and ordered appetizers and main dishes. The lobster soup at the beginning (with use was a fantastic start. Very delicious and aromatic. Then the perfectly roasted meat Rumpsteak and Filet. There was the sauce ordered completely superfluous, the meat alone was so aromatic that I had tried (lecker!, but otherwise wasted. The team was very friendly and attentive, we felt the evening very good and good.
