Coffee & Cakes - Hamburg

Short-term conversion: never again. today on Saturday we wanted to take a walk over the pauli, the harbour, the portugiesenviertel and the reeperbahn. the sky was covered and it looked in the far away as there was still rain. into the car and then go. in the hein cöllisch square we found a parking lot and went towards the harbour stairs. (the square was named after the famous hamburger volkssänger heinrich köllisch, 1857 – 1901. past my St. pauli church, where no more container stands for our African Italian tourist. Although it was simply too sweet, many say that it was the hamburger smuddelwetter, there were many tourist sites at the land bridges. we went over the flood wall, which was the last for the cap anamur and then went to the Portuguese quarter. of the many running and watching we were hungry, but not so much that we wanted to enjoy a lush lunch. so: we, these are my prinzessin jenna and I. in the dietmar köhl street we then saw the caffeine “Coffee cake” and we were able to put ourselves beforehand on a free bank. I studied the map and saw that they could order a small breakfast today until 15.00, so breakfast 3 , 1 bungalow, 1 croissant, 1 ei, 2 x butter, 2 slices cheese and 2 slices cooktop ordered. the order was also accepted very quickly and I could look around, the breakfast was already coming. the bunge and the croissant were in a small basket, packed in 40 g butter, sink and cheese, and the boiled egg were on a plate. it was a very large bungalow and the croissant was probably with a maize flour content because it looked beautiful yellow inside. then the glass came with the coffee latte. the hate with the cut tasted good, just like the croissant. the coffee was as cold as the heart of the ice-prinzessin and as if it was brought directly to the customers by the henne. it was not a hard-baked egg, but probably only drawn through hot water and protein as well as egg yolk were still really liquid. I complained that the ei and the waitress asked if I wanted to order a new one. No, I said I would like to exchange this glibber for a cooked egg and not order a new egg. also this egg came very fast and then corresponded to my ideas of a cooked egg. this breakfast cost me 6,80 € and I can promise you that they can't recommend the caffeine if the eggs are as liquid as my boiled egg and the coffee latte as cool as when it was dipped with cold water.

Nice place. Excellent simple breakfast with friendly service and reasonable value for money. Good choice

The food is unspectacular and the way it is served does not make it more interesting. Nevertheless, the waitres was fast and smiling. and you were able to pay with credit card ; . When entering we were hungry and when leaving satiated.

Staying at the fabulous Hanse Clipper Haus in the Portuguese district and having my first coffee at the busy little Coffee and Cakes great café!
