Coast by East & Enoteca - Hamburg

Excellent meal and very nice stuff. The view is fantastic and the desserts are excisite. I recommend this place and will return.

We went here for lunch and had a superb sushi/sashimi meal. The restaurant offered a fine selection of tasty high quality pieces.

Can't complain about the food - it's great. Must be a petty working in the kitchen serving great dishes not knowing their being delivered to the costumers without a smile or a couple of seconds to spare providing the service you would expect. It looked like there was only one ground staff member at work that actually knew anything about the food and serving, so needless to say he was in a bit of a hurry which unfortunately resulted in us not getting a couple of extras we asked for.Go there for the view and food and a little portion of patience.

Yes this place has a good view, attentive staff, cool vibe and the best sushi but it's soooo expensive. It was a birthday treat so I tried to ignore the price a little but a piece of sushi can cost 10 euro! We went for the mixed sashimi and sushi main each. The presentation and taste were amazing but 14 pieces cost 30 euro. Maybe I should have realised the cost but just wanted to warn others in case. If you don't mind paying then this is a great place to go.

Modern, contemporary, fusion and slightly a stereotype, but with some exceptional raw material for the sashimi.Maki was well asorted and new in many aspects which was good, so the combi starter was actually the highlight of the evening with the main slightly too far on the experimental side with super special fish and super traditional sauce - a pitty really.And the crew? A lovely mixture of skilled yet Hamburg sarcastic humoristic people - which I very much enjoyed, but as far from strict Japanese as one can imagine.The sashimi would make me come back!Sincerely
