Przekaż informację zwrotnąGeneral: This year’s Hamburg trip ended as usual in the “Portugiesenviertel” behind the landing bridges. After visiting A Varina, Porto and Nau, my current research showed that Casa del Sabor was a good choice for a Portuguese food. According to the homepage, the Casa del Sabor 2009 was perceived by the press; above the entrance is called “Since 2007”. I had looked in and reserved a few weeks before at the restaurant, as I had to do in Hamburg and therefore offered it. You get a two-hour window; in my case from 18:00 to 20:00 on a Saturday. This was a clear indication that the Casa del Sabor brummes and you can sell the tables twice in the evening. That was fully confirmed. We were in the Casa del Sabor after our harbour tour with catering trips to Hamburg at about 17:30 and we were given a small selection of foursomes, combined with the announcement that the two hours of running from now on! Outside, some “non-reserved” sat at the tables along the facade, which was certainly not a great pleasure given the rather cool weather. The small Casa del Sabor was completely occupied in the front main area and in the rear area between the kitchen and theke. I imagine what else I would describe under “Ambiente” care: The manageable tables are very narrow in the Casa del Sabor. It impacts the back rest or back rest on the narrow side of the transverse neighboring table and I can well understand the criticisms of this narrowness that can be read, for example, in the tripadvisor. At the two rowally assembled tables in the rear area, the seats are assigned separately, so that in direct contact with its foreign neighbours you are placed left and right, which must be ready to tolerate. If you don't like to eat in Kaustrophobic Enge, the Casa del Sabor should either avoid or look by yourself and have a table. at the window that leaves some air. At this early hour, most of the other Portuguese were well visited in the small triangle in the Hamburger Neustadt, which with the tourists all do their good business, which certainly usually happen to return somewhere. My choice was confirmed by the kitchen performance. At the table, however, I heard that one would have preferred a return in the A Varina, in which one sits just too well for the Casa del Sabor. So, if you want to choose from a rich selection of well-prepared appetizers and main foods from the Iberian cuisine that convince and who does not scare a bottle of food will be served well at Casa del Sabor. The price level at Casa del Sabor shows that the times when you could eat at the Portuguese are over. But it is not covered and I give 3.5 stars for the price-performance ratio. The modest homepage of the Casa del Sabor is somewhat inexorable [here link] . The menu as a download shows the prices, sometimes it leaves them for whole headings fish, tapas. The drinks are unfortunately not shown at all. Service: At the table two women served us in the black Casa-del-Sabor look. The very young waitress was engaged and friendly. When I took the offered table behind the counter as a vanguard, the small coffee splashes fell on the bread plates and she changed them and wiped the lower tablecloth clean from the small splashes. She kept her pleasant way, even when the full load was set for the service. A somewhat older operator seemed to be quite reserved at the beginning, which may be due to a cold with audible hoarseness. However, my constant companion gave me the fact that “the Heisere” came up and acted kindly. I remember her warming the glasses for the brandy. Remindedly, a man also appeared at the side table to describe the differences between the various octopus dishes, which he made quite understandable. The orders were quickly brought to the table. The main foods are a bit close to the appetizers, which may be due to the fact that the kitchen is also trying to observe the strict time windows. For service it should be three stars for the proper duty and half a star for kindness. Drink prices are quite mixed. For a Veltins in an unusual slender size of 0.25 l, the excess € 3.10 is due. You have to grab 0.4 l for heavily discounted €3.80. A bottle of water 0.75 l comes to 4.90 €. In the open wine you can enjoy the simple country wine with a reasonable €2.90 for 0.2 l. The Vinho Verde, which we enjoyed, came for 0.5 l to 8,70 € 0.2 l 3,50 € . It was not particularly pearly and was served only moderately cold in a carafe in a cooler without ice. Food: The map of Casa del Sabor is very extensive and also includes non-natural treats such as rabbits, stock fish and a good selection of tapas. In addition, my photo of the recommendations of the week shows, among others, mussels, cheese variations with figgelee, red bass in orange sauce! , salmon, pork fillet in plum sauce! First of all, we got a small bowl from the kitchen with Aioli and a basket with seven slices of a 08/15 white bread. The Aioli was sturdy and well-cooked. For me to settle in the beginning upper third of my ranking. For four people at the table there was a good teaspoon for everyone. You could have ordered it from the tapas card. Bread was brought on request. The appetizers: For all the Pimentos del Padron 4,50 € and Patatas con Mojo 4,90 € and individually Gambas em Alho 13,90 €, tomato soup 4,50 € and twice the Sopa de Peixe 6,50 €. The Pimentos and Potatoes from the tapas card were good. From the Pimentos one had to shake off some of the well-flagged sea salt. The mojo sauce is only slightly picant and fruity and therefore edible for everyone at the table. I then had the fish soup that I would like to put in the top group of my fish soups, with the base and thus the basic taste being decisive for me and not whether I find a shrimp or a piece of salmon. So a wonderfully fishy, yellow-red, slightly soup with some insert from the sea and from the field in medium portion size. My constant companion was served in the still boiling oil her six great Gambas. In the oil abundantly thin garlic slices and when the oil was cooled after consumption of the Gambas, we liked to keep the oily broth on the table, because it was too valuable for tapping and seasoning to become “repealed”. €13.90 was a proud price for the portion in view of today's purchase prices for Asian breeding tiles. Rather moderately I found the too thick for me in the consistency and to creamy tomato soup without special whipped; but I want to mention that they liked our accompanying friend. I then got the rabbit in garlic sauce 14,50 €. In the tonepot several kidney and chest pieces from the canine, almost bordered with a slightly thickened garlic sauce. This was munitioned to a garlic overkill by an innumer of cheered garlic slices! I really enjoyed the sauce for a delicate canine. The dish is nothing for eaters that a garlic clove appears as an excess per dish. The pommes cut into potato apples were good, but salt potatoes or rice would have been the better choice to pick up the sauce. My constant companion had the pork fillet from the grill in pepper sauce with rice, pumice and vegetables as supplements €15.20 . Three tranches of pork fillet swam in the white sauce and were napped with this and covered with green peppercorns. The sauce was criticized as “bechamel-like”, the meat went well. For my taste it should have been a few more peppercorns. Our friend ate the fish plate with squid, salmon, wolf bass, sea salmon and a scampo €16.50. The rather small fish parts had been carefully grilled and eagerly and after my memory were eaten with appetite, but without enthusiasm. Pommes, vegetables and a salad set. On its side, the redfish fillet in orange sauce was eaten by the weekly ticket €16.50 . The fish in the form of two stretchy pieces had been panned and fried and then, like the pork fillet, was saucated and napped with the successful orange sauce. Sose on Panade is often criticized as sacrilege. I am pragmatic and let myself be guided by the taste experience in my mouth and that was good here. To this dish there were three large half salt potatoes and the standard vegetables supplement. For purists who only like to eat their fish glassy, Casa del Sabor is not an address, because here is cooked. After I have described my fish soup and my garlic canine easily euphorically, solid four stars also have to jump out for the kitchen performance. Ambience: The Casa del Sabor is housed in an old building. On the left and right of the entrance, the unprotected table series on the Trottoir, which is common in the Portugiesenviertel. You enter the front guest room that reaches the bar. Through the floor depth windows it is bright, supported by the white color on the walls with half-high panels. Behind the counter the described second area with tables to the yard with little daylight. From him to the open kitchen. The bright stone floor, a semi-high band with colorful tiles with fine ornaments and walled arcs create a successful atmosphere, supported by petite wall and ceiling lights. In this area you sit on the popular dark brown chairs with closed back and thick leather cushions. Two layers of table linen and rather large bread plate with cutlery are found. It doesn't seem nasty, but it does. Unfortunately only simple salt and pepper shakers. I have already said everything about the place on and between the tables. It is positive to note that on the way to the toilet there is a wardrobe that can be reached without disturbing guests and no tables are in the way to the toilet, which itself was neat. Cleanliness: The Casa del Sabor makes a well-maintained impression. The small coffee splashers on the bread plates should of course have been seen when they were covered, and we also had a knife exchanged because the dishwasher had not removed clear traces on one side.
