If they are looking to relax, have a nice cup coffee and a piece of cake, which is the definitiw of the place. the caffe is located in the treppenviertel, which makes the experience even more interesting, as it is a very original and beautiful...Neighing in hamburg.
We have visited the hamburger treppenviertel on a sunny Sunday afternoon and this place is only placed around a hidden corner. drawing on the perfect location we decided to stay for a cup coffee. the personal is quite friendly but not very fast. The coffee shop was full and the two employees did everything from the serving, the preparation of coffee and the cleaning of tables. we had about 15-20 minutes waiting for our order, but the amazing view and the absolutely delicious cake let us forget the little inconvenience. this place threatens to become our special place in hamburg, it is absolutely charming. we will definitely be back there for some homemade delicious cakes.
Last weekend we went through the most picturesque quarter of barenese, hamburg called treppenviertel. in ancient times, caprine would build a house on this side of the mountain facing the river, so that if they returned from the sea, their wife would immediately know. they. go small steps up and down, between all the very nicely maintained houses, we found this caffe called coffee garden owes we sat in the sun, saw over the river and had wonderful waffles, fresh made, with warm celestial, cream and ice cream, what a delicious! we could have chosen fresh homemade cakes! the only reason why I didn't have 5 stars is that it took one because to place our orders (I guess the good weather pulled too many customers). after that everything was great, friendly staff. we will visit again!
Great coffee place with amazing cakes! I tried the chocolate one and yum! Definitely worth the hike. I got to give a glimpse at some of the lunch dishes and they also looked extremely tempting! Very tiny and familiar. I think it's a family business,...the kind of business run by mom and dad first and then carried on by their kids. A little and quiet place to warm yourself up in the freezing cold Blankenese and admire a beautiful scenic view. Try it!
