Bolero Ottensen - Hamburg

The most important first: eating in bolero (moderate mexican) is really delicious and absolutely worth its money. we were there with several people and all were satisfied with their choice (but I can recommend the fajitas, the filling is very nice served in a small iron pan on a rechaud.) the prices are really moderate.The service is competent and friendly; but we were forgotten in the back part of the restaurant. the young ladies only appeared to serve and empty glasses remained empty until one of us went to the front to draw attention to our condition.The eating comes quite fast and also at 8 people almost at the same time.The local itself is not really chic, but you still sit comfortably. Unfortunately, the very nice garden was not usable because of the cold weather.After eating we had a drink at the nice and large bar (here we had not the problem of being forgotten by the personal).Everything in all, however, a recommendation, especially because of the very good price-performance ratio for eating.

In the cocktails hardly alcohol.Waren for happy hour time there and in my jumbo cocktail was hardly alcohol. after I complained about the kind of alcohol, the same cocktail came again without change! it was still a taste! very clear nogo to lie to the customers. I went back personally to the bar and I was insulted before my eyes alcohol was gifted. in the moment I expected to come up as it would have been in any other restaurant. the waiters are also unfortunately not criminal and were quickly insulted.We will not visit the load again. not recommended.

We had spontaneously searched a restaurant in ottensen with the family and went back to bolero after about 25 years. we were kindly received from the door-seated operators. the atmosphere at the back of the restaurant looks a little tight and the years come. eating absolutely honest (chickenburger , fajitas ) and tasty. good value ratio and a good selection of vegetarian alternatives. the service was fast, friendly but somewhat inflexible as it was about to exchange the speck in salat for champions. we will surely come back but then sit in the more cozy bar area.

Bar, which offers food of poor quality. the service and the cocktails at the bar are nice, perfect to look at the many televisions a football game, but to eat it is from eating to service a catastrophe. forget about!!!
