It lists itself as an Anatolian restaurant, which today is close to Turkish. I had an interesting "stir fry" item and my companion a yogurt based casserole with side dish of rice. I enjoyed my choice. My companion was not totally able to eat his choice. Difference in tastes for certain. Service was quick and the small restaurant neat and decorated with very interesting artifacts. The menu is large.
Baris is the other of our two corner restaurants. And we love it. When we moved to our current neighbourhood year and a half a go we went to Baris on a very first day. Well to be precise for take away only, but ever since then this place has been one of our favourites. Staff is super friendly and all of us can find something from the menu. This is our quick and easy.
We use this place each time we visit the English Theatre nearby, so I don't understand why it is listed as closed! The place is old fashioned but comfortable, informal and residing. The food is not fine dining but it is tasty and good value for money. My turkey salad and my partners chicken kebab were both excellent. This is a perfect place for a quick meal before the theatre.
The best Anatolian restaurant I had so far. I recommend the 26! I didn't think walnuts could be so delicious. And: the operation is just super nice.
We were received very kindly, so this happened. The food was very tasty and plentiful. We were well served with vegetarian and meat dishes. It was good. A pleasant experience.
