Bar Levante - Hamburg

Coffe/bakery in central of Hamburg. The cappuccinos where big! The cakes looked great but could taste better. I picked a chocolate cake with raspberries on top. It didn't taste of anything. The lemon cake where better! So don't go after the cake that looks best here. Ask the waitress for her recommendations!

The Levante Cafe is one of several in the Levante Haus shopping mall. This one is located on the ground floor, on the end nearest the Hauptbahnhof. The menu is inticing. I ordered pancakes and a hot chocolate with ovaltine. Everything was delicious. Unfortunately, when I got to the end of my drink, I found a fly. The waitress was unsurprised, and offered to let myself and my friend only pay for drinks.

The bar is located directly in the Lavante House. there is a rich breakfast offer from French to Italian to vital. the prices are reasonable, the quality of the food good. for the vital breakfast it should have been a hauch more rührei the obstsalat and the bircher müsli are made themselves!

After a shopping tour we returned to this bistro.Then we ordered as an appetizer bruschetta ( tasty) and then pann fish in scabsosse with bratkartoffeln. the service and all the people there are striving, friendly and nice.

... with coffee and cake "under the stairs." kindly served and quickly served, inexpensive, cheap location: this was all very good, even if the outdoor places are a bit cramped. that works bigger inside. Apart from cake there are also small dishes, which are apparently offered all-day.
