At The Golden Lion - Hambleton

The food is very good and the service is top notch. We went for dinner on a Friday. The restaurant wasn’t too busy but the bar area was. The service was really good. The menu is very varied and the 2 course menu is exceptional value.

The Sunday carvery at this restaurant costs £35 and includes two soft drinks. The meat was tasty and there was a good variety of vegetables, but overall the dishes were a bit bland and the Yorkshire puddings were too thick.

Another lovely stay. Excellent service friendly staff ! Smiley , bubbly ,efficient receptionist called Laura..bar staff and waiter service really helpful too! Would definitely recommend..

I meet my friends here a few times a week and I love 'The Lion '. The staff here are fab and the work really hard, and we have a great laugh. Pub is always clean, and food is great

We have dined at The Golden Lion in the past and have always been thrilled with our experience! This time, we opted for Sunday lunch and were blown away by the delicious meal. Although I'm usually not a fan of buffets, I was very impressed with the quality of food we were served. There was a choice of four perfectly cooked meats, a variety of fresh and hot vegetables, and delicious Yorkshire pudding, all replenished regularly. The selection of starters and desserts was excellent, and the option for either 2 or 3 courses was great value for money. I highly recommend the food at this restaurant and will definitely be returning to try more dishes!
