For me, Caesar salad means romaine lettuce, chicken, bacon, egg dressing (mayonnaise), garlic, parmesan and possibly anchovies and/or capers. Here they had chosen a different twist, and it was partially very successful. The salad (I immediately recognized the pre-cut Romano mix from Bama) was mixed with parmesan flakes, tiny (canned) artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes, celery and cherry tomatoes. It was all topped with fried chicken pieces and a basil dressing. Next came a warm piece of focaccia. It was a chess trick to put the chicken on top, the first piece set like a shot! Sat with an overwhelming sense of well-being as the flavors emerged. The chicken was juicy and good, the dressing magical. When I eventually made my way down into the salad, I regretted a little that I hadn 't mixed it together. It was a bit dry with salad alone. But it was entirely my fault. The focaccia was homemade , crispy and good. A bit strange that they use pre-cut lettuce and not just Romano, but it didn 't spoil the overall impression. If you want a tasty and simple salad, I can recommend this place. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
