Ham Lake Lanes Lounge

This is my new favorite bowling place! Interesting staff, easy to set up Lanes, Bowl before you pay. I want to try her atomic bowl in the evening.

I don 't like to give out 1 start reviews, but here we are. Sis and I wanted to pay bingo tonight, a Friday night. Bingo starts at 6 pm. I don 't get home from work until 4:30. I change clothes, freshen up quickly and get out the door so we can arrive by 5. And we couldn 't find a place to sit. Oh, there were plenty of tables and chairs available. But all open spots were reserved by a jacket on the chair or the chairs being leaned forward. Well ****. It should be first come, first serve. I 'm here an hour ahead of time! I should get a table or chair when the place is less than half capacity. We walked out and sat in the bowling alley to think of our next move. A sweet, friendly waittress came over to see if we needed anything. We told her we were just looking online for a backup plan as the dining room was full. She was surprised and didn 't like that seats were being saved either and was going to talk with management. Somewhere else got our business tonight.

Bartenders are nice and work really hard, apps are good, entrees ok. Didn’t bowl here but still dope that walking though the bowling alley transports me to my child’s hood. :

First, I'm nothing anywhere close to a bowling alley expert. For me it's a really nice place. The rental shoes were clean and in good condition. Plenty of loaner balls to choose from. The guy running the place had a great attitude. The lanes met expectations. The pizza was just fine. The bartender did great. I dunno, overall good rating from me... been here maybe 3-4 times over the last several years... same positive experience each time.

Staff was friendly. Clean place to bowl. Brought the kids for their first bowling experience. They loved it and will be back.
