The enchiladas dinner is 14.00 you get plenty of food the beans could be mashed and add some cheese but good .The service is always pleasant thankful the young couple running the Resturant are there long hours daily let's give the small business people to make it thrive let them know what they should add they take suggestions very well . Tuesday is taco tuesday 3 tacos for 7.50 but they are loaded with meat too .Try it spread the word
Service and ambiance were ok for this little place. They decorated it nice for a 'fast food ' type Mexican restaurant. It was very clean! The food lacked the Mexican flavor that I crave. Something missing is a sauce variety other than one tomato-y sauce. Carnitas was a bit on the dry side soaked in a red sauce, beans are whole and I prefer mashed refritos but the taste was good. The Spanish rice was nothing special and had the same flavor as the red sauce.Unfortunately, I know they 're trying but they have to be more willing to branch out and offer some more traditional dishes and sauces like salsa verde and tomatillo sauces. We were given one green and one red 1oz cup of salsa. The green sauce had I taste I couldn 't describe but I didn 't like it. No hot sauces whatsoever. Also no sign of cheese inside or out on the carnita enchilada platter. Just that very untraditional red sauce inside and out.Our favorites are cheese and onion enchiladas, chile rellenos, carnitas burritos or enchiladas and a salsa verde, cream sauce with spicy hot sauce available. They offer none of those so we probably won 't be back. Not to deter others from trying Burro Loco, but for us we have 3 favorite Mexican places that serve much better food for less. One platter combo dish $14 and 3 tacos on taco Tuesday special $7.50. Quite expensive for the quality.
Service was, ok. The ambiance was, ok. The food was hit and miss, but mostly miss. Got the Asada Fries and a Horchata. The sauces on the fries were nice and flavorful. The fries were your average food service fry but I won't fault them since it's the only French fry item on the menu. The steak took a day off... It was chewy and sour like it had been in the tray too long and overcooked. The Horchata was good, rich and flavorful. Moral is, don't get the steak unless it's at peak traffic and that's still a risk. Maybe just stick to the pollo.
Great tacos fresh ingredients, authentic flavors. Quick service with eat in or takeout.
We went here for lunch on Friday and I can't say enough about the service. There were Togo orders coming in and the guy who was working the register and putting food together up front was finishing up an order so we waited for a few minutes. He was so polite. He took our order and we got our drinks. Everything was clean. Our food came out quickly and was very tasty. As soon as we finished and got up to leave the guy working up front thanked us for coming in, washed off our table and picked the basket up from over the trash. I was really impressed.
