Blue Cajun - Haltom City

I’m a Louisiana boy and I was always biased towards Asian style seafood boils. Then I met Blue Cajun. Hands down the BEST crawfish I’ve ever had. The BEST. 5 pounds with Asian Cajun sauce and number 4 spice level. Add a pound of shrimp. Thank me later. Been here many times and always consistent. If you haven't been to this restaurant yet, you absolutely must! It’s my favorite spot for crawfish and truly a hidden gem. Be sure to order the mixed flavors—you won’t regret it. I always request extra sauce, mayo, and lime to mix together, and I also like to add some of that extra sauce to the crawfish fried rice. It's a BYOB place, so I usually bring a few seltzers to enjoy with my friends while we hang out. The catfish is consistently good, but I primarily visit for the crawfish and mussels.

This is the best Cajun boil I've ever tasted! The spice level I chose (6) was just right, and the flavor was absolutely amazing. This place is genuinely a hidden gem, tucked away in a small Vietnamese plaza. I can't wait to return to Texas for another meal here!
