Great food and wonderful service! Worth a visit! That was an old opinion of me!! Last month I tried to dinate there three times and I won't try it again!! 2 times they were not open to their advertised hours with a note at their door and the last time we called to check 7:10 just to be sure!! We were sure they were open until 8. When we arrived at 7:40, the open sign was illuminated, we went in and the waitress said only briefly that they did not serve and went away. I told her that this was our last attempt and that we weren't back! A shame that this sassy blonde destroys what was once a good place!! But you know what? Pen Can served us a great meal this night! Green gable is also great! Blue Stone Pizza is top!!

Visited salt spring state park and afterwards we found this place for a bite to eat. The bartender and service was great and the locals were welcoming. The food was very good. Very nice pub. Thank you

Excellent service! I enjoyed the Philly Cheesesteak Soup and the Reuben sandwich was great! They also had a very nice selection of adult beverages.

This is now my husband's and I third really BAD experience with the cook at night. My husband and I had the Prime rib, he ordered his rare, mine medium, my prime rib was a med well but still good. As for my husband's, it came out well done, no red or even pink so we our family) convinced him to send it back, so he did. He only to two small bites out of it. The waitress said that there wasn't any more rare prime rib so he ordered a Delmonico rare. Well he got a complete raw steak with grill marks. NO GOOD!!? A REAL COOK WOULD HAVE TOLD THE WAITRESS THAT THEY WERE OUT OF RARE PRIME RIB FROM THE START!!! This would have changed the whole experience, my husband would have been just fine with the TRUTH and ordered the Delmonico and then Maybe the Cook wouldn't have a revengeful attitude and save the waitress from running back and forth because of his arrogance. The waitress did an amazing job like she always does. And received a nice tip because I was in the food and beverage business for around 30 years and I know it was not her fault. Like I said this is the third time we have dealt with that kind of treatment from the cook, last time we were there we got raw lobster and overcooked steak. We will not be back!!

Started with the Philly Cheesesteak Flatbread. That was Delicious.. I got the Ahi Tuna with fresh cut fries and side salad. Tuna was very good. Fries some were crispy and some were mushy but were hot. Salad was fresh and very good but came after the entree. My wife had the petite prime rib with a baked potato and green beans. Prime rib was huge with a thick au just sauce on top and very tasty. Baked potato was ok. The green beans were mushy and tasteless. My wife found out they have dessert that I couldn't find on the menu. We had a brownie with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup and Carmel syrup. Place was clean and staff was friendly.
