Wapo Tacos - Hallandale Beach

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I highly recommend trying the chicken flutes, they are the best!

We have tried the most authentic Mexican taqueria in Miami at the Coral Gables location, complete with Mexican music. They have recently opened a new location in Hallandale Beach. The menu offers a wide variety of tacos, sides, and sauces, as well as salads for those looking to avoid extra calories. This is a great spot to hang out and enjoy a meal with friends, but not ideal for a first date.

I do not recommend this restaurant. They automatically include an 18% tip on the bill, the chips were stale, the elote did not resemble what was pictured on the menu, and the tacos were just average. Save yourself the trouble and dine elsewhere.

The family taco platter was a good value, but the guacamole was disappointing as it came in a tiny container similar to a jello shot and was not worth the $3.25. The tacos and salsa had great flavor, but the adobo sauce was overpowering.

They only served small soft corn tortillas similar to street tacos.
