Padrino's Cuban Cuisine

We ordered the Mariquitas appetizer for $4.99, which was quite bland, especially when served with garlic on the side. We also got a carafe of Sangria for $14.00, but we've definitely had better elsewhere. For the main courses, we had the Churrasco steak for $17.99, which came out rare; they didn’t ask how it should be cooked, which was fine but unexpected. The Garlic shrimp at $14.99 were served in a small portion and lacked flavor. Lastly, we had the Roast pork chunks for $10.99, which, when judging Cuban restaurants, also fell short in portion and taste. Overall, our ratings reflect an average experience among the three of us, and we all agreed that we have had much better meals elsewhere.

The food is outstanding and it’s not your typical Cuban restaurant. The service is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable!

We go often to Padrino's. We enjoy the grilled tilapia with the black beans and plantains. It is delicious. My husband enjoys the shrimp Creole as he eats them on many occasions. I also enjoy the Cuban sandwich and the sangria.

The food here is excellent. Even the sandwiches are flavorful, and the bread is incredibly fresh. However, the Yuca is just average.

Service was very nice. Food was brought out quickly. First time trying Cuban and I really enjoyed it. Usually not a fan of sauteed onions, but they added a hint of sweetness to the pork chunks. The empanadas with the red pepper side was especially tasty.
