Vernon’s Thunderbird Diner - Halifax

The service was slow, about Fleischburger was a little on the burnt side.

The service at the restaurant was slow, and the Beyond Meat burger was slightly overcooked.

I've often gone to vernon and every time I have a fabulous experience. the atmosphere is completely inconspicuous and I mean not only the decor and the personal, but also the patrons. it was packed when my man and I went and we were invited to take part in another couple of their table so we could sit down. we had a great meal and entertainment.

Breakfast is ok, the sausage tasted rancid, last time I was there. The food isn't fresh as alot of meals are microwaved, the microwave is in constant use. I wouldn't pay those prices for a microwave meal. The chef obviously doesn't care about quality. Nice atmosphere and great waitresses.

We just left Vernon's for the first time, it will definitely not be the last! Everything we had was delicious. The service was great. The burger I had was top notch, the bun was deliciously toasted, with lots of bacon on it. The burger itself had some sort of seasoning on it and it was amazing! The poutine was served in a skillet, with in house, hand cut fries, curds and good gravy. Then they put under the broiler for a bit, it might have been the best one I've ever had. Mozza sticks are also made in house and were amazing! Wings were great, ceasar salad and mac and cheese were both great too. Now... If only we could find a way to bring it to Cole Harbour ....
