Vela Pizzeria - Halifax

Stopping here while in Victoria made my day :) We ordered the ice cream flight (4 scoops) and I have no regrets.

I visited six ice cream shops during my week-long trip to Victoria and Kid Sister was my favorite.

First of all Kid Sister is located in the "secret" Fan-Tan alley which just makes it super cool of the hop.

I loved the place itself and the ambiance. Service was impeccable, however, I must say that during dinner time it gets bit loud. I wish the atmosphere was more elegant and quiet as having a conversation with your loved one may be bit hard at times. Other than that we have had great time for our anniversary and food was amazing!

Came here for my birthday celebration and right off the bat they accommodated us and sat us 20 minutes early. We sat at a cozy corner table and had excellent service. Food came out fast and tasted fantastic. They even packaged my leftovers for me. At the end, our server surprised us with a free sorbet dessert! Overall great experience and would definitely recommend.
