Stubborn Goat - Halifax

We visited the BG on a beautiful Thursday night. It was busy but we were seated quickly. We went for dinner as well as drinks. The drinks were good however our server was one of the worse servers I have had for a very long time. She clearly did not enjoy her job and everything seemed to irritate her. It was like we were inconveniencing her by ordering and asking questions. I have no idea why she would be in this line of work. She did not check on anything and had to be reminded three times about one of the drinks that we had ordered. Stay away from the Lobster Roll it had no flavour and was a big disappointment. The best part of the lobster roll was the toasted, buttery bun. Perhaps the fish n chips would have been a better choice????

Great food and beer with a view out to sea. Lots of choice from the menu, service a little slow but it was lunch time. Would definately visit again.

It was a perfect place for lunch on a warm day! The outside patio deck has a wonderful view of the harbour and the boardwalk. There was lots to see while we waited for our order. We had a beer with the lobster rolls and they were excellent. Our waiter was friendly, helpful and the service was good.

We stopped here for an early dinner with our toddler. Nice staff and view over the harbour but disappointing food. The fish and chips were okay, pork taco was literally just pork in a taco without anything else so very uninspiring and the bacon&avocado flatbread was essentially a greasy cheesy pizza with avocado puree splodges on top. Wouldn't recommend.

While the portions aren't as big as other restaurants, the food was very tasty! Loved that it was right on the harbor! Food tasted fresh, and was pretty light still. Service was very good too.
