Restaurant. We were greeted warmly by the staff and seated promptly. The grill had a cozy and inviting atmosphere with low lighting and soft music playing in the background. The menu had a good selection of both traditional and unique dishes. I ordered the steak and my partner had the grilled salmon. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. The service was attentive and friendly throughout our meal. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience at the Grill and would highly recommend it to others.
Cut is a fantastic steakhouse with a lovely selection of wines. I have dined at Cut three times and I have determined that the USDA Ribeye is the top choice.
We were in Halifax for two nights and ate dinner here on both od them. It was that good. I found out about Le Bistro from a woman working at the Tourust Information office on the waterfeont who said it was her personal favorite in the area near the Public Garden where we were staying. The restaurant is located on the first floor of a high rise so might not be noticed by the passerby. There is a small Eiffel Tower outside and that is a good clue about what is within. Inside there are twinkle lights and red umbrellas creating a fun, relaxed and potentially romantic atmosphere. We had two excellent waiters on our visits who described the food well and had good wine recommendations. ( Try the rose for starters)! We also had two delicious meals - one rainy night boef bourguignon for both of us and the other a delicious seadoof crepe ana a chicken with brie. For dessert I will suggest the gingerbread tower. It is so good and the large size is enough to share! Thanks to the woman who sent us here, to our two lovely servers and to the chef! Gice it a try.
We had a very satisfying family dining experience last night at this quality restaurant in Halifax.Three of us dined on their superb lightly grilled haddock. Our family visitor said her Digby scallops were excellent and our grandaughter was very impressed with her onion soup. Our grandson cleaned out his bowl of pasta. The delicious apple crumble with vanilla ice cream made me forget calories for the evening. The others chose lemon meringue dessert which brought looks of total satisfaction to their faces. The server was outstanding:highly competent and very pleasant. The restaurant offers a beautiful view of trees and flowers just outside their large windows. We dined from 6PM and avoided any parking problems.
