Saffron Multi-cuisine Indian - Halifax

The food at this restaurant is definitely worth it! The customer service is on point and the dishes are delicious, much better than other restaurants. I also appreciated their presentation. I will definitely be returning!

I visited this restaurant in the evening and ordered pani puri, vada pav, dabeli, and buttermilk. I also tried pav bhaji, although I didn't particularly enjoy it. The pani puri had a good taste and left me completely satisfied, but the dabeli and vada pav had a similar taste which was a bit disappointing. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was clean. My order was served within 15 minutes. Overall, I had a good experience and would recommend trying it at least once.

This restaurant is a fantastic spot to experience the flavors of Indian cuisine. The food is amazing and the customer service is top-notch. I highly recommend this place for families and groups. Personally, I loved the Haryalli Naan and the Kaju Curry. The Pani Puri and Aloo Paratha were also delicious - they made me feel like I was back in India. Definitely the best Indian food in Halifax.

Terrible establishment. Outrageous prices for small amounts of food. And the customer service is TERRIBLE. there wasn 't enough food for something we ordered, so when I called, she said she requested a refund, but wasn 't sure why it didn 't go through. Then said she would replace it for me anyway. The refund DID go through and they did not give us the food she said shed give me. The refunded money also did not reflect in our bank account yet. When I called her back to complain about the food and the money charged to us, she didnt want to do anything at all to help. Her response: we 've never had any complaints before . They dont care about their customers at all. Outlandish prices for small bites of food. And to top it all off, we even tipped them nicely. Do not eat here! It may taste ok but they are a rip off and a half. Scam artists. What Curry place doesn 't offer rice or nann with Curry? That 's what it 's traditionally eaten with! So disappointed. 70$ for a few pieces of chicken and samosa, SCAM!!

The food was ok but we were missing things from our order. Of what did arrive was 2 orders of butter chicken and it was literally just the chicken(? with nothing else. For a steep $20 you would expect it to include rice or bread or something but it is literally just chicken appearantly. Our order ended up costing $100 for my wife and I, since we were still charged for the missing items, and we were still hungry afterwards. We had called the restaruant for clarification and they told us to go pound sand, citing that no one else complains. Overcharged and underfed just leaves a bad taste in our mouths. Unprofessional and very upsetting, and will not be ordering here again.
