Relish - Halifax

First off it's a really cool and casual burger bar and the creation of burgers is wild.

Burger Week was a busy time to have my first visit to RelishLine up to order was out the door and out onto the chilly March sidewalk.

We stopped in Relish Burger while discovering the neighborhood surrounding our hotel, it is right behind the Atlantica Hotel. Our burgers were excellent and there is a pleasant coffee shop type atmosphere with nice background music. Nice welcoming place.

Went there for a quick lunch. I had the turkey texas burger. It was delicious! Gravy has a bit of a kick to it so recommend that as well. Nice setting and located close to Atlantica where we stayed.

This was my first visit to Relish.... The set up is user friendly.... pick a burger and they have a number of combinations ... some toppings are roasted garlic mayo, caramelized onions, a beet relish, mushrooms, fried egg, etc.....pick a side the fries are home cut, but there as also a number of options, onion rings, coleslaw, salad, sweet potato fries, etc. It is my understanding that the burgers are made on site. They offer a gluten free bun, as well as, a vegetarian option for the burger. The quality of the food was great, the ingredients varied and fresh, the bun was fresh and tasty, The serving size was reasonable.... not giant.....I will visit again and think that this is certainly a much better option than a fast food burger.... oh and there is a parking lot with designated parking as well..... great feature for a restaurant on Quinpool Rd.... I can see this being a great treat for someone that is hospital bound and craving a "homemade" burger.
